Welcome to the UMGC Seminar Page.

The UMGC has a seminar scheduled generally every two weeks. Each seminar has a topic that focuses on the application and/or use of geo-spatial data sets and techniques.

If you are interested in suggesting a topic or have in mind an individual to give a seminar, please CONTACT the Director of UMGC.

Below are a listing of topic and presenters of UMGC seminars. Where possible, downloads are provided for additional information about the specific topic.

All seminars are given in the Anderson Hall Auditorium, Room 21 in Anderson Hall on The University of Mississippi Campus at 6:00 pm. For a map to Anderson Hall, click below:

Be sure to visit the UMGC Cool Stuff Page. The page has the popular mouse pads and tee shirts (on left) that can be worn to the seminars. All shirts and mouse pads have the popular Ikonos® image of The University of Mississippi Campus. The detail is amazing considering the satellite is 400 miles in space and traveling at nearly 14,000 miles per hour! All transactions are at cost.
